The biggest reason this will always buy you a time savings is because many domains are configured with timeout periods which are very small, some as little as a couple seconds, some a few minutes to an hour, with the rest normally in the one day range.  Since FastCache can override the normal timeout period, you can
help to eliminate duplicate requests.

3. NetworkActiv Port Scanner

The interface is divided into 2 parts, the Port Scanner (Left Side) and the Sub-net Scanner (Right Side). One reason being that they are not together is that a standard Multi-IP port scanner does not perform well for sub-net scanning and is therefore a compromise. Another advantage of this style is that you can sub-net scan to find IP's and then double click them to perform tasks upon them (port scan, open, etc.). You will notice that there is a speed control in the middle of the two sections, this control obviously controls the speed of both, note that the speed for a particular scan is set at the start of the scan and therefore changing the speed during a scan will not affect the scan, this is so you can set different speeds for the port scanner and the sub-net scanner. Note that all program settings are saved on exit and restored the next time the program executes.

CurrPorts displays the list of all currently opened TCP/IP and UDP ports on your local computer. For each port in the list, information about the process that opened the port is also displayed, including the process name, full path of the process, version information of the process (product name, file description, and so on), the time that the process was created, and the user that created it. In addition, CurrPorts allows you to close unwanted TCP connections, kill the process that opened the ports, and save the TCP/UDP ports information
to HTML file , XML file, or to tab-delimited text file. CurrPorts also automatically mark with pink color suspicious TCP/UDP ports owned by unidentified applications (Applications without version information and icons)

5. Fdbget

How does it work and what does it do?

Simply enter the IP address of your switch and its SNMP read community in the  fields and press the Retrieve Table button to get the list. If it fails you will  be told (see statusbar). Fdbget.exe is a little tool to retrieve entries from the forwarding database  of switches. It gives you a table of MAC to interface number. If you are looking for a specific MAC on a switch then simply enter the MAC or part of it  into the search field (without regular expressions).  The table results and search results are exported to separate files. A new feature is the ability to use parameters (IP,community) with program start. A log file will be generated automatically. This will enable the user to start  fdbget by command line and on multiple devices,then collect all the log files for
analysis.

Use the syntax fdbget.exe A results file is automatically generated with the name "fdbgetresult__yyyymmdd_hhnn". The program is terminated after that.

8. NetBrute Scanner

NetBrute scans a range of IP addresses for shared resources that have been shared via Microsoft File and Printer Sharing. In addition, any SMB compatible shared resources will show (i.e. Samba Servers on a Unix/Linux machine). It is to be used by system administrators or home users to see what types of resources are shared and to warn the computer users if any unsecured resources are displayed.

Ideally, only folders and printers should be shared if it is intended for the whole world to access them. If the folders and printers are not intended for the whole world, then passwords should be applied to the resources. 

NetBrute will find all resources, whether they have passwords or not. However if you attempt to access a resource that is password protected, you will be prompted to enter a password. Any password that is not easily guessed is usually sufficient for protection of shared resources, however to prevent dictionary attacks, it should not be any word contained in the dictionary, any proper name, or completely numeric. A future version of NetBrute may allow a dictionary attack on password protected resources to verify that a good password scheme is implemented.

This trick is really simple. In Windows, simply push the "Print Screen" key, then open a program such as Paintbrush, and paste it in. For a single window, you can use Alt+Print Screen. But that trick require two step. First, You Push the ALT+PrintScreen Key. Second, You paste it in a program.
